Two storey house extension, Copthorne
Examples Of Other Work
Sympathetic building project with handmade kitchen
Our client wanted a two storey extension at their attractive and beautifully maintained property in Copthorne, West Sussex – a new kitchen on the ground floor with a large en-suite above. We knew that attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship would be of the utmost importance.
The en-suite was designed in such a way as to blend in with the character of the existing building and we used distressed oak beams and timber panelling to achieve this. Purpose-made wardrobes were constructed to fit in with the unusual roof design and, along with the clients’ discerning choice of furnishings, this created a very attractive room indeed.
The kitchen was designed in such a way as to create a large and bright space with the use of oak beams to blend in with the house and was hand made according to the clients specifications.
Variations included a redesign of the purpose made balcony to increase its size and appearance. A large York stone patio completed the project.
